Bargain Bridal By The Sewing Lady is a family-owned bridal boutique and clothing alteration service located in Greenwood, Indiana. Nestled just a few doors down from Vino Villa Winery in a charming two-story stone building, the shop is easy to find—just look for the big red sign. What started as a simple at-home alteration service by founder Diana has since blossomed into a beloved full-service bridal shop that has become a staple in the Greenwood community. Her passion for sewing and helping brides feel beautiful on their special day inspired the transition from home-based business to storefront, and the warmth and care that started it all still shine through in every appointment.

At Bargain Bridal, the focus is on offering high-quality, brand new designer wedding gowns at a price point that fits a range of budgets. Unlike consignment shops, every dress in the store is brand new—no secondhand or used inventory. Surprisingly, Ashley was able to pick out a dress that was so similar to the dresses I had on my Pinterest board. Of course I tried on a couple other dresses there as well, but I absolutely fell in love with the first one! It was reasonably priced, but I knew I wasn’t going to be able to pay the full amount on day one. Ashley not only gave me helpful information on their layaway options, but she gave me a discount for the amount I needed to put down to start the layaway! The whole experience was relaxed and fun! I didn’t feel pressured to try a specific style on or even buy anything from them. I am very grateful for Ashley’s help!
